I believe the only place left in Nova Scotia is The Load of Mischief in
Lower Sackville (Sackville Drive). Owned by Ralph's brother,
incidentally.

Ralph's brother's name is...... inccidentally??? :-)
... and his other brother Coincidentally.
....thought his other brothers name was Larry?????
You're mistaken:) It's Darryl
No, the other Brothers' names were Darryl.
No - incidentally, Ralph Nasrallah's brother owns The Load of Mischief. I
don't know his first name, and don't give up your day job - it was
grammatically correct :)

Very un-classy but very fun if you have a few beers into ya ;)

The only one I can think of now is the Load out in Sackiville...pretty
scummy ! (from what I hear...never been there)
is the old mill on wyse still a 'gentlemens club'? i know i drove past
there the other day on my way to Kel's Deli for beef jerky and the sign
said open.. i didn't notice anything else about the place tho
me neither, but my loser ex has, so I can pretty much guarantee you that it
is scummy.
Closed for years as a "gentleman's club"...the former mayor of Dartmouth
had them all run outta town...trying to clean up DT Dartmouth...what a
joke,...they're the ONLY reason anyone travelled to DT Dartmouth...
If you're thinking about that place just down from the Sportsplex, yes it is
still open. No, I haven't been there, but I do know of it, and know from
word on the street that it is active. Not quite the same deal as the
Load/Ralph's however, and from what I've been told can get much more
expensive.
...and what's left? Couple of pawn shops, takeouts and commercial space they
can't give away. As long as the Downtown Corp. continues to confuse morals
with money, it'll always be a white elephant like it has since the days of
Rollie Thornhill.
I went to the Load once - can you say tampon string? Visibly pregnant? Seen
'em both on stage.
Hopefully your friend's not coming from someplace like Montreal or Toronto,
in which the local offering is just plain embarassing.

Hey, fetish night!
I have to admit, I've never been inside such an establishment.
I've led a sheltered life.
** And, I've been kicked out of better places in my past wanderings!
