You do not need to be in a union to paint houses. Just let you charge
more for you services, same idea as drywallers.

Some people feel that belonging to a union lets them charge an arm and
leg for their work. My mother who lives in Darthmouh had her kitchen
done by a pro so called painter. This kitchen is not much bigger than
a walk in closest as there is a seperate dining room. She was charge
$600.00 for less than 5 hours work. Now tell me where the justice is
in that.
