Dear everyone,
I wanted to give a brief update on Review/Approval work. Dr. Matemba and I met this morning, and UCC gave Dr. Matemba privileges to approve/reject facilities. We went through some from 24+ May and then some from start of March, to review/approve and reject (one was rejected as not all information was included such as facility type). Some open items yet to be resolved:
1. We did not add the NEW facilities we looked at (start of list, end of list) as these are private and need to be checked with Dr. Mahewa on facility details
2. Request to delete Nyandeo Dispensary (LGA, public). This is not in MSD list. We did not approve deletion at this point and am not sure of the review process needed?
3. 108338-5 has a request to change the facility status to Closed. This is a private facility. This needs to be checked with Dr. Mahewa also.
This work will need to continue, and I can review with Esther tomorrow the process we used (and will continue with Trust also), so that they can continue with Dr. Matemba. We are comparing this list to the MSD list Dr. Matemba has so that he can update his list with the Unique Facility ID also.
I also wanted to check in with the list of ‘test’ facilities I had sent to see if these can be deleted, and if indeed these are the ones that had been created during the training? It would be great to get these cleaned out of the data. Also, if there are pre/post tests available that can be reviewed that would be very helpful also.
UCC have closed some current items that had been requested including the following 8 items:
(1) Change the field name Registered Facility Name to Registered/Official Facility Name
(2) Admin hierarchy issues
(3) Custom message for each validation rule failure
(4) Putting image icon for the notifications (in red) so clear there are notifications for the user
(5) Including user's administrative hierarchy (region and district) as well as the facility name in the user's signature
(6) Adding remarks field for the deletion of the Facility
(7) Allowing users to update their profile information which are not critical such as phone number
(8) Making critical fields mandatory when user is at profile completion phase
And finally, we do need to find a way to copy the training DVDs and get these distributed to the district teams. Wengaa/Joseph/Kenan have the master copies of these.
Please let me know if there are questions or comments. I am leaving wed this week just so everyone knows, so if there are other HFR requests please let me know.
Thanks, Niamh

Dear Happiness, Ilomo, Esther,
I was just following up with you all, as Scott and I have seen a lot of updates in RM from the Curation Tool, and know that some of these updates are related to test data, and some are real updates with the groups that have already collected data last year.
Anyway, Scott and I wanted to offer any assistance you need here with doing any data cleaning that might be needed with the test data.
Best regards, Niamh |
Sotter,
We are working separately on the DHIS2 and HFR integration with UCC/UDSM. With DCS, their current public list is linked to MSD so we are currently manually using this as a way to see where the discrepancies are in terms of facilities that DCS can approve or not, and they have the current private list also which we are using. We will be automatically checking between DHIS2 and HFR and syncing using software versus a manual approach so this will come shortly. We had our first meeting on this last week so that UCC and UDSM can start this dialogue with MOHSW.
So, this is an iterative process to harmonize the lists, so we will be doing this incrementally.
Niamh

Dear Niamh,
It is better to use both list DHIS2 and MSD, this will help us to see discrepancy if any.

Hi Ilomo,
We need to agree when we push the revised code to the production server. This will address the icon issue below already fixed in the staging site (item 4 below).
I don’t know on the professional fields and am hoping someone from ICT who works on HRHIS should have access to the list of cadres there are that can be entered?
Thanks, Niamh

Dear everyone, |
Hello niamh
Thanks for fhe good feedback.
Just one question on the proffesional fields. Does the HRHIS intends to sends HR information to MFL as so far it sends aggregated data to DHIS.
Cheers

Dear Senyoni,
Thanks for the email. I don’t think the MFL at this point is scheduled to take any HR information from HRHIS. We do however have some fields related to the facility in charge, their NID and their contact information and am not sure if this is stored in HRHIS. I think in the next meeting this issue should be discussed here as we had not really considered whether there is similar information in these fields in HFR with HRHIS.
Thanks for raising the issue, we will add it to the list to discuss.
Niamh
Hi Niamh, Senyoni - all,
As theintegration process in on the move, does this mean that the inofmation we want in HRHIS and DHIS should as well feature as it is in the HFR?I thought the HR information should fature to the HRHIS and fature id DHIS specifically the HR module sheet - is this not the case?I thiught the MFL will only feature the common cadres info sich as facility incharges and their information?? I stand to be corrected and eductaed here!
With KR, Wengaa
Thanks Ilomo for clarifications, this is wonderful -"for close necessary fields"

Hello Wengaa |
Dear Wengaa and Ilomo,
Yes, the HFR just has facility in charge and their cadre, contact numbers. The question is if this is stored in HRHIS, then we do not need to re-enter in HFR as suggested, so this needs to become an action item we need to follow up on for HFR.
Thanks, Niamh

Hi Niamh, Senyoni - all, |
Sounds great. Thanks Senyoni.
We will add it to the agenda.
Esther is now back from leave and picking everything back up. Expect to hear from her in the coming days for the next HFR meeting with updates etc.
Thanks! Niamh
