Universities, colleges and polytechnics from six countries and 4 continents will convene in Dunedin New Zealand on 9-10 November 2011next week (Note: New Zealand time - a day ahead of North America)  to plan the implementation of the OER university.

UNESCO and the Commonwealth of Learning will be assisting us designing more sustainable education futures for all countries using open education approaches.

The OER Tertiary Education Network aims to provide free learning opportunities for all students worldwide with pathways for OER learners to achieve credible credentials from the OER university anchor partners.

The meeting will be streamed live with due recognition and thanks to UNESCO who have provided funding support for the webstream.

Approximately 100 virtual participants from 29 countries have signed up to assist in planning activities.

You can join this landmark meeting and help plan the future of the OER university network.
