The founding anchor partners of the OER Tertiary Education Network have nominated 12 potential courses for consideration for the OERu prototype which we are planing to have available for delivery during the second half of 2012. (For more information on the decisions of the OERu meeting of founding anchor partners, you can consult the summary of the meeting.)

We will be using the OERu 2012 prototype courses to test and refine the OERu delivery model. Learners will have access to free learning opportunities with pathways to achieve formal academic credit.

We are conducting an open rough consensus poll to help the OERu founding anchor partners in taking final decisions for the 2012 OERu prototype courses.

You are most welcome to assist in this process see:

(PLEASE NOTE -- If you are not an OERu  founding anchor partner and will not be able to provide formal credit for any of these courses - -please indicate "not applicable" under the relevant questions relating to the award of formal academic credit for these courses.)

We extend and open invitation to all accredited post-secondary institutions who would like to join the OER Tertiary Education network and the OER university initiative. For information on how to join this international innovation partnership, see:
