A quick reminder for anyone interested in helping the OERu with our collaborative implementation planning.

The SCoPE online seminar for designing Academic Volunteers International (AVI) starts (or has started - depending on where you live) on 5 December.  This is a live planning session of the OERu initiative.

Interested persons should create a SCoPE account and register by clicking on the "subscribe to this forum link":

During this seminar, the open community will:
  1. Review the concept proposal for AVI proposed at the OERu 2011.11 meeting
  2. Identify the major themes for designing AVI and participate in these discussions
  3. Propose and discuss the structure for the AVI Framework proposal document
  4. Contribute user stories as a sub-activity for designing the AVI system (see below).
This SCoPE planning seminar is a sub-activity of the main OERu planning activity to design the AVI system under the open student support initiative of the OERu logic model.  The open community is also invited to submit user stories  (another sub-activity of the planning for the AVI system).

We look forward to a productive OERu planning session.
