Hi Catherine and everyone,

 

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the date after all. So sorry but I don't think I am up to it after having

surgery last weekend. It will be less than the 2 week minimum recovery period and I think it makes sense for me to stay home.

 

Very disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope you all have a lovely day and I am definitely coming next time.

Diana Mills has just let me know that Br Neville Bingley is very ill and not expected to live more than a few weeks. Please keep him in your prayers. We were blessed to see Neville a couple of years ago while he was visiting UK. Neville has been a very effective presence in the New Zealand Church especially amongst the indigenous population.

 

On a happier note I hope we will be able to meet up sometime early spring, perhaps after Lent. Catherine, have you any suggestions as to dates?

Hi Dermot, a reunion would be lovely. I am only just back from our sabbatical in Latin America and the Antarctic, so have a couple of very busy weeks ahead, but I shall put sorting some dates for this on my to-do list and hope to come up with some soon.

PS just been to the Catholic Chaplaincy in Gower St to speak to the university Cathsoc. A couple of the students were at Heythrop. It was so lovely to be in there
