Nuala has asked me to let you know that Theo died on Saturday at noon. She has asked for our prayers for him and if we would let anyone else who knew him know.

I remember him with fondness and appreciation.

Thanks for letting us know Catherine. I spoke to Nuala a couple of times about Theodore and sent her a Mass card to take up to the funeral which is today. I am conscious that we have not met up in a while. Should I organise something for sooner or later in the year. Perhaps find a suitable place in London or you are welcome to come here to my flat in Thatcham. Could everyone please let me know what they think and give me some idea of dates available.

Thanks for the news re Theo's death, he was a great character, contributing greatly to my enjoyment of our time at Heythrop. 

I think he'd not been well for some time, but cannot recall with what condition.

Hope all's well with you, and the heat is not too stifling in London.  We are somewhat cooler up here in the (at last) unfrozen north!

I think that is an excellent idea.  Either London or Thatcham would be good, although London rather easier to get to from North East.

I have been speaking with Nuala Heenan and she can do Saturday Nov 2 but not October 12 (she has a training day). I now find I can do either of those days so perhaps Nov 2 would be best if that is OK with everyone else. I know Nuala is anxious to come as she had to miss last time.

It would be good if we could find a date that we all can make. How about Sat 9th Nov? Could Dermot check with Nuala? Haven't heard anything from Lynne, Cathy or Catherine H. 

Guess who I met this week..... Leonard's Boff! Wow! He was someone who really influenced me when I was at Heythrop. And now I've just spent a week at the Jungian Congress in Copenhagen organised by the International Association of Analytical Psychology (ie the Jungians) where they have just made Boff some sort of Honorary fellow. (The Pope, of course, recently gave Boff a call too). Very strange having these two worlds collide.
