Hi everyone, I'll be building my first hexayurt this year, an H12. I was hoping to miter the panels to eliminate some of the sunlight gaps that are caused by Danger hinges. I'd love your opinion on this jig I made up. I have two different blocks, one cut at 15 deg and one at 30 deg. The idea is to screw this long razor blade onto the block and use that as a angle cutting jig. The back of the block is straight and flat so I can clamp a guide fence to the panel for a straight cut. What do ya think?
Looks good, I would make it longer since panels are not that smooth and not that uniform in thickness in my experience. Also for thick panels you might want a way to go halfway in depth first to reduce the force needed.
Good luck!

I did 60 degrees everywhere ie beveled top of the walls in as well. Foam does not like being cut at sharp angles, so 30 degree may not come out well...
