How much tape for 6' hexayurt with camp danger hinges?

Hello hexayurt people -

I'm making my first hexayurt. I've decided on the 6'. I'd like to make it with camp danger hinges. I see that the regular instructions for the 6' takes 2 rolls of 3" wide tape. That 3" tape is better for this size of yurt. 

For camp danger hinges, the camp danger page says I will still use the same amount of tape. So, my question is, were they expecting I would be using 6 inch tape for the hinges and 3 inch tape for the edges? How many rolls would I order of each width of tape? And, a separate question, would one roll do it for the foil tape?

Hi  I ordered 3 rolls of 6" & 3 rolls of 3" foil from GoodBuyGuys.com took 1 week to ship.  I am building 6' hexy & this should cover it & the extra tape for tarp. It was 141.75 with shipping.  I was going to use 1&1/2" R-Max but Camp Danger has used 1" so I will too.   6" tape for hinges & 3" tape for edges & to tape over exposed 6" is what I understand from videos.  Good luck with your hexy!

Hey April,   I used 3" foil tape for most of the edges but needed more than three rolls & I got 2" foil & it seemed to work out just fine .  I now have all 15 sheets foil edged & am ready to cut the diagonals.
