Hi all...back again with a new location and frame build for 2017.

This is my coolest so far. Got an Imgur pic album for you to peruse:

Going to be doing a bunch of small changes...and a more ambitious MK4 build in July.
So far this Hexaframe has been christened by 45 mph wind and laughed at it.

This MK3 build is basically an outdoor workshop for me. Many more projects are going to spring from within it's walls.

Enjoy...and ask questions. Youtube video coming shortly.

Thanks for the update! looking sweet! interested in how many hours labour go into one of those frames end to end?

What are you staking it with? Are you taking such a structure to the Playa? If so, you should DEFINITELY look into lag bolts (10-12"). I have bought/hassled with/gotten lacerated by my last rebar.

Took me a couple weeks. Had many weather related slowdowns.

Using the smooth "rebar" stakes from Home Depot. They are pretty long and don't budge once hammered in.
This frame is not going to Burning Man. It's something used to turn a Hexayurt into a permanent structure.

It does look pretty permanent. :-)
