Hi!

We have got some reports from users having problems with the user
interface not resizing correctly in HeuristicLab.
If you are experiencing such problems, please take a look at our Blog
[1] or the FAQs [2] for possible solutions.

Best regards,
Andreas

Hi
Although I've downloaded 3.3.6 and although i see the "change main
form type" window, the behavior doesn't change no matter which option
I choose.
So there is no solution for me yet.

actually it's version 3.3.5.6998 (downloaded from daily build a few
days ago). Does it suppose to work on this version as well?

Dear Achiya,

thank you for your email. You downloaded the correct version and it
should have worked.
I tested the fix from ticket #1652 again and as it turns out this only
fixes the problem with the system locale setting for non-Unicode
programs. The resizing issue for display settings that are configured
to a font size of 125% or higher still exists. I am guessing that you
hit both bugs as your system locale setting is probably Hebrew and
when i remember correctly your font size is set to 125%.
So there is still one problem left to fix, i have created a ticket
(#1688) and we will try to solve this as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Andreas

Dear Andreas
My font size is set to 100% but the system locals is indeed set to
Hebrew.

But while I'm checking my complains I've discovered that suddenly it
works!
I think it is because i didn't restart the program after changing to
multiple windows. Maybe you should consider adding a popup alert after
changing the mode, asking to restart the program.

So after all - you did fix the problem (though it would be nice if I
could use the docking mode as well).

thanks
Achiya

hi
any new with this problem are you working on enabling "docking" for non-unicode ? (it is really annoying to work with other methods)
thanks

Dear Achiya,

I'm sorry but I fear we haven't made any progress with this issue yet.
Because of your request we are currently giving it another try and
maybe we will come up with a solution soon.

Thanks for your patience and Best regards,

Andreas

Dear Achiya and Yael,

we have finally found and fixed the ui resizing issues that you have
experienced in HeuristicLab. The fix is currently in the trunk version
of HeuristicLab and will be part of the next release (3.3.7) which is
scheduled for the end of June. If you need the fix immediately you can
use the HeuristicLab daily build from [0] which already includes the
bugfix. But be warned that this is the development version and
therefore may not be as stable as the release version.

Best regards,

Andreas
