Today I installed ShareIt Windows software from ShareIt official site. Software installed correctly without any issue, but when I opened it, I am getting prompt "The port 55283 was occupied". I want to know What is port 55283?. Who is occupied that port & Why I am getting this error. I am using Windows 10 OS. I had attached the screenshot of error that I am getting.
Open an elevated command prompt, and run netstat -a -b > c:\temp\netstat.txt and let it finish. Go and open the file c:\temp\netstat.txt and look for an entry with port ID 55283. This will tell you what application is using that port. You can then close the program using port 55283, and try your application again.
that is because you have two versions of shareit installed. First, uninstall the pc application. Second, there might be an application installed using the Microsoft store. Make your pc free of all the instances of the application. Again install, and make sure you open it with the same shortcut that got created.

As soon as SHAREit installation is completed, it makes an attempt to connect to the internet via a process called shareit.reporter.exe. For users who concern about privacy, this is the kind of behavior that will surely make them worried and therefore reluctant to use it.
If you accept the requirement, you will be able to use SHAREit to transfer any kind of files (documents, photos, video, audio, executable files, presentation slides, PDF files, and more) from a PC to another one, or from a PC to a mobile phone or vice versa.

SHAREit creates a hotspot on your computer when it is running so that the other devices can find and connect to it automatically. Alternatively, it supplies a QR code which other devices can scan to make the connection.
Every time a device makes an attempt to connect to your computer, SHAREit asks for confirmation. Before you begin to get annoyed because of having to do the same thing over and over again for the same devices, you should enter your personal devices in the Trusted list to stop SHAREit from asking your confirmation ever again.

In description you can write a short summary of the content or themes of your presentation portfolio. In content language you can select the language in which the content of your portfolio should be displayed.
When you click the tile you want to add, there will open a window where you can select which information you want to bring from your working portfolio. You can change the order of information by clicking the box after information and dragging them in new order, as instructed in the screenshot below:
Additional image, Description, Embedding, Feed, Text and Title are elements whose contents dont interrelate with working portfolio. You can use these elements for example to demonstrate your experiences, to summarise the themes of your portfolio or to clarify the structure and layout of your presentation portfolio.
You can embed content, like videos or slide shows, from another site to show in your presentation portfolio by using embedding. Embed new content by entering the URL of the media you want to be embedded. If content shows up too large, you can specify maximum width by pixels.
Feed
You can also add RSS feeds into your presentation portfolio. You can use Feed element if you have for example personal blog and you want your posts to show in your presentation portfolio. Copy and paste the source URL of feed and select maximum number of entries to display. On Blogger and Wordpress the form of source URL is:
Presentation portfolios are for sharing your work, learning and experiences with peers, supervisors or counselors or for publishing it to an employer or for the web. Your presentation portfolio is private until you publish or share it.
