Dear HET TAC chairs and PIs (and possible future PIs),

Coming up at the end of May, Greg Zeimann and I are again opening our virtual doors for office hours to support any questions about HET proposals, observations, data, and pipelines:

  Thu May 27th, 9am-noon CT
   Fri May 28th, 9am-noon CT
Join Zoom Meeting:   https://utexas.zoom.us/j/92006904514
(you'll need to be logged in to any Zoom account to connect)

This will be another chance for users to ask questions about proposing and observing with HET (Steven) and also about the data reduction pipelines and science products they can expect (Greg). Some topics are already covered on the HET Observations & Science Support Google Group ( https://groups.google.com/g/het-obs-sci/ ) or in the HET's documentation pages ( https://hydra.as.utexas.edu/?a=help&toc_X=1 ) but we'll be happy to discuss any questions users may have.

Please join us if you have any questions to discuss and we'll do our best to answer.

If you've been thinking about using the HET for your science, now is the time! It's a highly efficient observing system with daily data reduction pipelines and you'll get an email with a link to your reductions the day after they are observed. It's never been easier to do science on a 10m telescope than this, seriously.

Dear HET PIs and possible future PIs,

This is a friendly reminder that Greg's and my office doors are now (virtually) open and you can join us any time for the next 3 hours today (9am-noon CT), and the same again tomorrow.

I also wanted to let you know that the LRS2 documentation on Hydra has been overhauled this week. Gary provided a wealth of images, information, and text, and the LRS2 information online is now substantially improved:
Take a look and let us know if you have any questions or comments on ways to further improve it.

Alrighty, well, please join us if you have questions or thoughts about HET proposals, observations, data reduction, and science! We're here to help and happy to chat,
Steven

If you haven't seen the latest LRS2 documentation on Hydra that was overhauled this week, please do take a look:

Hope to help answer any questions or just say hi to you this morning!
