Dear PIs of HET programs,

Sorry to interrupt your Thanksgiving holiday if you're celebrating it, but I wanted to let you know that we identified an issue on the computer called Hydra this morning, which is where users log in to view/edit/submit targets and observations into the HET queue.

Everything seems OK at the telescope, and Hydra is simply a replicated copy of our on-site database, which is normal. The issue seems to be with the Hydra logins and we're working on restoring that access.

In the mean time, if you need any urgent information about recent observations, or need to change the status of targets in the queue, please email me and I'll be happy to help get it sorted out. I think it would even be possible to accept TSL files manually, if we happen to get the supernova of a life time during this downtime.

Hi again, everybody,

The issue with Hydra logins seems to be resolved now, but please let us know if you encounter any unexpected behaviors or anything. Thanks for your patience.
