Dear Consultant,
I wrote to you in late May to update you on the move to a single Consultant's Corner — our New Web Tools — effective August 1. In the past weeks, we’ve seen an enormous move to the new system, and now nearly all Consultants are up and running on the New Web Tools. I want to thank you for helping to make this happen!
As we move forward, I’d like to remind you of a few key deadlines:
- You can close and submit July Shows in PamperedPartner® Plus (P3) and the original Personal Web Site (PWS) through August 15.
- August Host and Guest Specials, etc. will not be available in P3 or on original PWS.
- Any August (or later) Shows that have been set up in P3 or original PWS will need to be re-entered in the New Web Tools. They're not automatically moved to the new system.
- If you use the monthly customer eNewsletter, beginning with the August issue, all customer eNewsletters will be sent from the New Website. As a courtesy, a separate email was sent to Consultants whose July eNewsletter was sent through the original system.
If you haven’t yet made the move to the New Website, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Here’s a summary of the steps you’ll need to complete:
- If you have any July Shows set up in the original system, you can finish them there. However, be sure to set up any new Shows in the New Web Tools.
- Clean up and migrate your P3 contacts to the new site.
- As part of this process, you’ll synchronize contacts from your original PWS Customer Connection contacts with your P3 contacts. That way, all your “original system” contacts will be copied into your contacts in the New Web Tools.
- You’ll keep P3 on your computer desktop, so that you can provide service to customers whose orders were submitted in the old system.
- Tip: Watch the video tutorial Clean Up Your P3 Contacts to get a step-by-step walk-through of the process.
- Set up your PWS in the new system. Your original site .biz name will be pre-populated, so use this for the new site as well. Then, pick your color theme, background image, and contact information for display, and add your Story.
- After you’ve submitted Shows that were created in the original system, cancel your original PWS. From the Consultant’s Corner home page, go to your original PWS Assistant. Click on Site Options, and then choose Cancel Your Site. When you’ve completed this, customers will automatically be directed to your new PWS when they use your .biz address.
- Be sure you’re opted in to the customer eNewsletter on the new site. Find it under Selling & Recruiting > Customer eNewsletter. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and if the orange button says “OPT IN,” just click it. When customers receive your next eNewsletter, the links will take them directly to your new PWS.
- Download the mobile app and start using it. If you need help, check out the Mobile App how-to videos.
A full checklist for making the move to the new system can be found at Consultant’s Corner > Training & Resources > Web Tools Training > Your First Steps Checklist (on the right-hand side of the page). In addition, the video Your First Steps is available on this page and provides a more detailed look at items to complete. A list of additional resources can be found at the end of this email.
We continue to hear excitement from Consultants about the ease of working in the New Website, the freedom to do their business anywhere, and the additional benefits like self-service returns and the option to chat online with Technical Support rather than make a phone call. I’m confident that you’ll find it to be an important asset as you continue to grow your business.
Warm regards,
Doris Christopher
Founder, Interim Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman
