Then just copy the extracted folder to .local/share/steam/compatibilitytools.d and force the game to run with it (in your steam library right click the game then properties>compatibility, check the checkbox and select the tkg proton from the dropdown menu)
We aren't trying to tamper with EAC, the question is about enabling a single checkbox on the games end and updating the EAC version so the game can run on the steam deck and other proton based runtimes. You guys don't have to do anything else, valve and the community can resolve issues and keep the game working thereafter through patches to the GPU drivers and runtime.
Right now game launches on steam deck using proton experimental without any problems,but EAC will kick you after 10-15 seconds of playing on server. Dice,please,enable eac for proton,other battlefield games like battlefield v,battlefield 4 works awesome on the deck!
