My solution was to reconfigure the text on the mobile version so that the headers serve as accordion triggers and the text can drop down beneath it. Unfortunately, I discovered that making this change affected the text on the desktop and tablet versions, which I want to leave as is.

How do I create different layouts for mobile and desktop version? I created layout for mobile version and tried hiding it for the desktop version. However when I hide it on desktop, it automatically hides it on the mobile version as well. There is no option on Webflow to make it visible on desktop or mobile only.

I have a problem with my website, i don' would like have automaticly the mobile view. I would like disable the mobile version of my web site. How can i do that? Can you help me? It's a really big problem for me.

If you do not see the checkbox to disable the mobile version of your site. That means you are using one of our responsive themes. This type of theme resizes automatically to the size of the screen the site is being viewed on. Whether that be a mobile phone, tablet, computer monitor or a television. For that reason, there isn't a mobile version to disable. It is only resizing.

If you do have the option to disable the mobile version. That means you are using an adaptive theme. With these themes, our system generates the mobile version automatically. It is basically an emulation of your main site just in a smaller form.

You can also tell what type of theme you are using, by clicking the mobile icon that resides at the top of your editor. You will either have mobile options or it will say, you are using a responsive theme.

Thanks for this information. Apparently I have a theme that is not optimized for mobile. I do not want to change my theme, but the mobile resizing throws everything out of alignment. Is there any way to disable the resizing?

I have this issue as well. On mobile view, my logo covers half of my homepage portfolio images. Considering most people look at things on their phone nowadays...I'm really struggling with how to deal with this.

Mine is a responsive theme and it doesnt just resize the images, it takes them all out of order. I would much rather just hav ethe desktop version on the mobile divices. I worked hard t make my website look the way I want it and then I switch to mobile and its all different and really ugly! is the responsive thing not working correctly?

Because of the radically different screen size ratios of a desktop computer verses mobile phone, it can be tough getting background/header images to look the same on both devices. You might have better luck using a white background for your header area, then adding your background image with a standard image element instead.

To say that its not possible means you dont want to supply this capability to your customers. Solutions need to be provided so you can have 100% customer satisfaction. There is a simple solution, you need to have the code produced so these responsive templates have a non-mobile view option.

If you can not help me to make the full breadcrumbs cliackable but the category in both pc and mobile view, then I would like to avoid to show the category at all, because it can't be that the clickable category does not bring to an unexisting page.

This will prevent Safari from loading mobile versions of websites by default. If you ever want to switch back to the mobile version of a website, you can still do so by holding down the "Command" key and clicking the refresh button on the website you want to view the mobile version of.

I have a GPD Pocket running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with Unity and Firefox Quantum. The GPD pocket is a small netbook (7 inch display). For some sites I would therefore prefer seeing on this screen the mobile version of the website (mainly on my work's egroupware server).

Yes, a screen with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 should be displaying the full-width version of Watson. What browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.) are you using when you see the mobile version?

Hello i have a quick question and was wondering if anyone was experiencing similar issues and have found a work around. I put together a checklist for our MHE and would like to post a QR code to the Smartsheet around our facility. The issue i am experiencing is one of my columns with a drop down box is not populating on a mobile device through web-view. If possible i do not want to make 100s of employees download Smartsheet just to fill out a digital MHE checklist. All of my other drop downs are working properly besides the "List any Defects" column. For this column i have 16 options for the drop down. Is this too many for a mobile view to handle? If i were to have all our employees install the app would it then work?

I haven't been able to replicate what you're seeing: as long as the column is populated with the dropdown options, they appear for me when I go to edit a row via mobile, on the Mobile App or through a Browser App (I'm on an iOS).

It currently runs on iOS and iPadOS devices, Android devices, Fire OS devices and formerly on Stadia. Windows Phone devices are no longer supported and will not get further updates. The New Chinese version runs on the same desktop equivalent version as the rest of the mobile versions.

The following content was removed from all mobile platforms, except the Windows Phone version, with the release of Mobile 1.3.0.7. Apart from these, all content exclusive to the Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version (except for the Zapinator) is also present. In theory the Golden Seaweed and Shiny Black Slab items are also obtainable on Windows Phone, but would have to be obtained through trade from the pre-1.3.0.7 Amazon Fire TV version and pre-1.3.0.7 Android version, respectively. The Windows Phone version also contains the features for the Chinese New Year event, however this event is unimplemented and the features do not appear during gameplay.

Two versions of Terraria have been released on mobile devices in China: the old Chinese version and the new Chinese version. Both versions are adapted from the standard Mobile version but feature many changes and additions, some due to government censorship, others to increase marketability, or simply to have interesting exclusive content. The old Chinese version has been pulled from all platforms and is no longer available to purchase, but the new Chinese version is still active.

I have a bit of a problem with my new website layout (which is still only a test version so far). For some strange reason my phone number and KVK number (Dutch chamber of commerce registration number) are not shown on the mobile version of my new site, while they are visible as they should on a desktop?!

Hi guys i have deployed a website with netlify and the desktop version works as intended but if i go to the site on a mobile, it just shows a blank page. i have looked through some of the answers on this forum but none of them fixed the issue.

While it's not required to have a mobile version of your pages to have your content included in Google's Search results, it is very strongly recommended. These best practices apply to mobile sites in general, and by definition to mobile-first indexing.

If you haven't already, create a mobile-friendly website so your users visiting your site through a mobile phone can have a stellar experience. There are three configurations you can choose from to create a mobile-friendly site:

The contents of this guide only apply to dynamic serving and separate URL configurations. In case of responsive design, the content and the metadata are the same on the mobile and desktop version of the pages.

Even with the equivalent content, differences in DOM or layout between desktop and mobile page can result in Google understanding the content differently. However having the same content on the desktop and mobile version ensures that the two versions can rank for the same keywords.

Don't let ads harm your mobile page ranking. Follow the Better Ads Standard when displaying ads on mobile devices. For example, ads at the top of the page can take up too much room on a mobile device, which is a bad user experience

Check hreflang links on separate URLs. When you use rel=hreflang link elements for internationalization, link between mobile and desktop URLs separately. Your mobile URLs' hreflang must point to mobile URLs, and similarly desktop URL hreflang must point to desktop URLs.

Use the correct rel=canonical and rel=alternate link elements between your mobile and desktop versions. The desktop URL is always the canonical, and the mobile version is the alternate of that URL.

In this example, the desktop site URL is and includes a link element that points to itself as the canonical URL, followed by another link element that points to the mobile version as the alternate version of this URL.

Here's a list of the most common errors that can stop sites from being enabled for mobile-first indexing or could cause a drop in ranking after a site is enabled for mobile-first indexing. If your site isn't enabled for mobile-first indexing yet, you've seen a drop in ranking after your site is enabled for mobile-first indexing, or you've received a message in Search Console, check the following list of common errors and resolve possible errors you may have:

done Fix the issue: Use the same robots meta tags on the mobile site and the desktop site. Don't use the noindex tag on the mobile page (otherwise, Google won't index your page when your site is enabled for mobile-first indexing).
