Canon Microfilm Scanner 300II will not communicate with my computer which uses Windows 7 as an operating system. It is the same physical computer and we did have our seller come in and install for us after we moved from XP and remote session didn't quite work. We had a computer crash and had to reinstall the software. Now it won't recognize the SCSI connection. i uninstalled the old software(capture perfect 1.0) and reinstalled the new (capture perfect 3.0) Do i actually need a physical scsi controller installed into the computer tower?
This software will update CapturePerfect to the latest version. CapturePerfect is an ISIS compatible application that enables the user to capture images from their document scanner.
Note:A previous version of capturePerfect 3.1 should already be installed in order for this upgrade file to install.
I am trying to install the v1063 patch to our capture perfect software. This appeared to work fine but when I try a scan to page I get "No devices found." I also get "Cant locate SCSI device; check cable and power.(-4536). I am using a USB port not SCSI. In the control panel under devices and printers I see under Unspecified an entry for Canon USB adapter for MS with a triangle and an exclamation point in the triangle. When I perform the Troubleshoot function the system determines the Canon USB adapter for MS is not installed but when I click apply the fix it cannot find the driver.
Yeah, the new tool "Snip & Sketch" in Windows 11 allows you to draw straight lines if you turn the ruler on. It's kludgy and helps us all to understand Microsoft. What's the one thing every freaken' user on the planet said they needed for the screen capture app? The ability to easily draw straight lines. You know what have worked great? Holding the freaken' shift key down the way every other application does it. But, no, you've got to turn on a ruler and go slow. Even with the ruler, if you're a little fast? Your highlight goes above the ruler and highlights something else.
I have used Capture perfect on WIN10 64-bit with Office 2013, however, upgrading to Office 2016 (and its "partner" Office 365) makes it NON-compatible, so before moving forward if this is your "go-to" scanning software! (as of 1/25/2016)

If I pause it at just the spot I want to capture, the time slider at the bottom and the title bar at the top are both in the way. When the video is maximized, YouTube also overlays a shadow at the top which interferes with the quality of the screen capture. All I want is a high-quality capture of the full video window.
