Who's up for attempting a reboot of a slightly more regular
occurrence of the meetup? Like say, more than just the Christmas
special that things seem to have become recently...

I believe our traditional attempt at a regular date on the
first Thursday of the month doesn't work for Dan these days
so maybe we should try something else?

For those of us with our fingers so far off the pulse we're in a different hospital, where's that then?

So there seemed to be general interest so as a concrete
suggestion how does next Thursday work - yays, nays or
alternative suggestions please!

Thursday works for me but I was going to say earlier (as I will be at sainsburys at 7pm) however will go with majority.

I have to drop Nick off at Scouts on Thursdays, and this week it's a bit later than usual.  On a normal Thursday I could be there at 8.  On any other day, I can be there earlier.  I'm happy to stick with Thursday or move it to another day (except Friday 15th).

I can do most days, though if you want to try Steve's hipster joint
then it's only open Thu-Sat which limits things.

I count three yes votes for Thursday anyway?

So are we on for The Crafty Duck tonight?  (Will I need a third mortgage?)

Sounds good to me. Assuming the trains are working I should
be there about 8:15 or so?

Hi everyone,

I came to one of your meetups a while ago, but never managed to come along again. Am still on this list though, so I saw that you were doing something this week... all too late for that now unfortunately.

It was absolutely ages ago that came to one of your meetups (maybe as long ago as 2013) and I'm afraid I can't even remember the names of who I met! I seem to be remember speaking with one of you who (at the time) was working on some sort of build server / CI software near Liverpool Street and another of you who (I think) was working locally somewhere near Hoddesdon.

But I enjoyed meeting everyone at the time, so I'd be interested in coming along to your next meetup...

Cheers,
Derek

Hi Derek,

You'd be more than welcome to come along!  We always arrange meetups through this list, so keep an eye out for emails.  We don't have a regular calendar, but it seems likely that we'll meet up again in a month or so.

Hi Richie,

Ok great, thanks. I will watch out for emails instead of letting them pile up in my inbox for 6 years this time!

Cheers,
Derek

Dare I ask how the crafty duck was?

When's the next one? (Hopefully when the duck is back open! They have new seating upstairs now)

Hi Dan,

Dare I ask how the crafty duck was?

It was... sparse.  :-)  Too early to tell.  No snacks, barely any furniture, but they were obviously keen to get it up to speed.

When's the next one? (Hopefully when the duck is back open! They have new seating upstairs now)

How about Thursday 11th or 18th April, to make it about a month's gap?  (The Duck's open Thursday / Friday / Saturday.)

I can't do the 11th but 18th works for me...
