Single Handed Heron World Championships 2023

Hi all

It's almost time for the 2023 Single Handed Heron World Championship regatta at Port Hacking.

Racing will be over 5 races conducted on Saturday 11th March and Sunday 12th of March.

We are anticipating a fleet of over 20 herons with entries already indicated from South Australia and Queensland.

This is going to be a great event and lots of fun as always.

It would be a shame to miss out so think about giving it a go.

Sailing instructions and formal notice of race will be posted next week.

For those from interstate, the ACT and those who would need to travel a fair distance, the use of the club facilities will be offered for overnight stays including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Details to come.

Entry to the event is free.

Best of sailing and hope to see you there for what should turn out to be a classic event.

Please find attached the Notice of Race for the Heron World Single Handed Championship to be held 11 - 12th March 2023 at Port Hacking open Sailing Club.

We are anticipating 20 plus starters including interstate competitors.

This is going to be a great event and lots of fun as always.

It would be a shame to miss out so think about giving it a go.

An invitation to sail and formal notice of race will be posted next week.

For those from interstate, the ACT and those who would need to travel a fair distance, the use of the club facilities will be offered for overnight stays including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Details to come.

Entry to the event is $20.00 to cover rescue boat fuel and sausage sizzle on Saturday Night.
