QLD State Championships - Logistics update

OK, the big one is almost here... QLD State Championships are on this weekend and the weather is looking fabulous for a great weekend of family fun. Here are a couple of logistics updates for the weekend to help everyone have a great time: 

Registration - dont forget to register using the web link below or goto the Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club Web site.

Lunches - the LCSC is opening the canteen for us this year. You can pre-book lunches on the LCSC regatta registration page on the internet. 

Accomodation - for those who haven't booked yet here is some advice from the locals: 

 - If you are looking to camp and the site is showing as booked out on the internet it often pays to ring them directly and they can quite likely find a spot for you. 

 - The Apollonian Hotel apparently has accomodation so ring them as an option. 

 - If you can't find anything at Boreen Point, then try Noosa / Tewantin, Pomona, or The Habitat Noosa. All of these are just a short drive away. 

 - And if all else fails give me a call and we will see what we can do. 

Saturday Evening - We are back in the club this year for the customary Saturday evening family night and famous Toad races. BYO food, the club provides a fabulous BBQ we can use to cook and the bar will be open for all your drinks etc.

Sunday evening and presentation - this year we will have the presentation at the club house in the afternoon after the racing. Followed that most of us will no doubt wander up to the hotel for dinner and some chat about how good the racing was!!
