Hi all

The Cryogenic Cup has been run and won.

We had a great day with a nice 15 knot southerly breeze, mostly sunny and not too cold.

Even got a little warm on the water once we started to move around the boats.

We had a great turnout with nine boats taking to the water with close racing throughout the fleet and a very competitive start.

The results on scratch were;

1st - Paul Armstrong in O For Awesome
2nd - Steve Imlay in Flat Chat
3rd - Russell Sullivan  in Rogue One
4th - Peter Connor in Grey Pearl
5th - Mark Levy in Game On
6th - Geoff Grover in She Said Yes
7th - Chris Gothard in Normie
8th - Chris Denham in Lets Play
9th - James Birdsill in Goose on the Loose

Handicap results to come.

Result for most combative on the day goes to Russell Sullivan who kept pushing Paul throughout the race.

Result for most progression through the fleet goes to Steve Imlay who pushed from midway back in the fleet to 2nd place.

The event was such a success that we have all agreed to run it again on Sunday 6th August 2023

Also find attached some photos taken before the start of the race.
