Hi Heroners,
The three attached proposals for by-law amendments relating to centreboards were recently distributed to members via email. I am cross posting to the forum to facilitate broader discussion.
Three proposals for amendments to the Heron by-laws were received on 2nd November 2021 and were distributed to members via email (linked below). Members are invited to make submissions for or against the proposals.
Following completion of a 60 day period allowed for submissions, finishing on 3rd January 2022, a summary of arguments made for and against the proposals will be sent to members
The linked proposals are;
Proposal 1: Centre Board lower forward corner curve radius Proposal 1
Proposal 2: Centreboard leading and trailing edge Proposal 2
Proposal 3: Centre-board Rotation Proposal 3
Further details and explanation are available in the recent Heron News; November NHSAA Newsletter
Looking further ahead at the overall process the proposals may be put to a vote by eligible members after the 2nd of April 2022. Support by a two thirds majority of votes cast would be required to amend the by-laws as proposed.
Yours Faithfully,
Wayne Spencer
