Hi everyone,
Despite the bad weather in Sydney the Heron world single handed championship is still scheduled to be run at Port Hacking Open Sailing Club on 12-13 March 2022. At this stage the weather is predicted to improve by the end of the week and the wind forecast is ideal for single handed sailing. The water in the Port Hacking is not badly affected by run off so there is little debris in the water. The rigging area is concreted so no concerns about getting bogged before getting in the water.
If your own club sailing has been cancelled this weekend this is the perfect opportunity to get on the water and race against previous champions.
