The Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) provides administrative support to over 50 professional Licensing Boards, Commissions and Councils responsible for licensing and regulating their professions within the State of New Hampshire. Through the NH Administrative Rules and Administrative Boards, the OPLC is able to fulfill its mission that ensures public safety and efficacy.
Conducts all investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and unprofessional conduct. The unit also is responsible for conducting statewide training for all employees; recruitment efforts; and outreach to employees who report they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, retaliation or unprofessional conduct.
Conducts all investigations into employee violations of policy and procedure, which might include, but are not limited to, unexpected offender deaths, suicides, possible homicides, theft, over-familiarity between an employee and an offender, contraband and accessing of confidential records. Law enforcement may assist in certain investigations and cases.
The department is committed to maintaining a work environment that fosters mutual respect and working relationships free from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unprofessional conduct (D2-11.4).
The department has zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or unprofessional conduct. Staff members who engage in such behaviors will be subject to disciplinary action. Conduct that may not constitute discrimination,
harassment, or retaliation under state and federal laws may still be cause for disciplinary action.

In our program you will choose which focus area you want to specialize in: Administrative, Legal, Medical, or Office Management. The newly established Office of Professional Accountability (OPA) is an independent office within the Richmond Police Department (RPD) that is committed to insuring that our employees provide the best service, individually and collectively, to the public. As part of our commitment to provide trusted, fair, and a neutral accountability system, a civilian Manager was hired on March 28, 2016, to oversee all of the functions of OPA including police internal investigations. This model of oversight is rare in the Nation because it places a civilian in the role to make independent and trusted findings to the Chief of Police as a result of internal investigations completed by police Sergeants.
Graduates are eligible to take industry-recognized certification exams such as Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), Organizational Management (OM), and Technology Applications (TA).
Students who are enrolled at the College for at least one semester and who have passed the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) examination are eligible to receive credit toward an associate of applied business degree in administrative office professional, subject to the review and approval of the appropriate department chair.
In addition, Stark State offers a one-year technical certificate in administrative office professional for non-degree-seeking students. You can apply certificate program credits to the associate degree program.
