Hi , I live in UK and have been diagnosed with inguinal hernia on my right side.

I have come to know that Dr Desarda has retired and no longer performs any surgery. Can anyone please let  me know if there is any surgeon in desarda hospital in pune who does this surgery or better if there is any doctor in UK, thanks in advance

Many doctors are available in India and rest of the world perform the surgery without mesh.

If you are opting for mesh free surgery obviously you need go for open surgery.

Recently  I got my right  inguinal hernia surgery done in Pune by Dr Susheel deshmukh Surgeon at Pune ( Mobile no. 09923747047) . He has been personally trained by Dr Mohan Desarda to perform hernia surgery by desarda technique, the only surgeon in India who has been directly trained by him. 

 You can checkout the website desarda.com and communicate via email with Dr Mohan desarda. Dr Mohan desarda gave me his reference and after communicating with him , I got my surgery done. Apart from the standard surgery expenses , one has to pay an additional Rs 15k which is kind of an admininstration fee, a royalty to be paid to Dr Mohan desarda. You can chechout the website, comminicate with Dr Desarda via mail / mobile phone and proceed ahead.
