Hello Andrew! It's been awhile since we communicated! Thank you for remembering me!
I am doing well and continui ng to improve on angina as I cannot remember when I last had it but I continue to carry nitro .04 and am taking 24 hour nitro every evening before bed along with BP meds. I take my BP reading before taking the meds and take them accordingly to the readings. Most times the BP is just slightly elevated before bed but upon rising very close to normal.
I have been prescribed Plavix which I take every morning along with an acid reducer (Plavix creates more stomach acid) along with a baby aspirin....all three prescribed by my latest cardiologist who appears the sanest of all I have been seen by.
I am now 100% VA disabled after many years of fighting with administrative hatchet-wielding nasties determined to sweep the service-connection under the rug....but I am winning that battle and still have pending appeals in progress for the remaining problems the gov't is responsible for through neglect of environmental issues where I was USAF stationed including asbestos and Agent Orange exposure.
My hernia is very nearly reduced close to normal with just slight protrusion; so the surgeon's advice that it will never go away is fading into history as not valid.
I have done nothing to reduce the hernia swelling other than yardwork which keeps my stomach muscles toned well enough to hold the now-minor swelling at bay.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and continue healing!
Best; Wilson
