Although I have seen slow progression in this 2 and 1/2 months, in the sense that I can move more freely, feel less symptoms and the hernia does not portrude (wich did from time to time the first weeks even with support), I have noticed, quite desolated... :_( that any little jumping or running and almost inmediately or after a short while I feel this inapropiatte movement in my groin and feel that hernia may portrude if I continue.
So I though a couple of things regarding this... first, maybe my support does not fit me really good after all, cause several people say that is posible to do normal activity and even exercice with a proper support with no fear of portrusion and perhaps worsening the rupture (perhaps not extreme exercise or at least not in all cases, but surely some light running). By the way I got the one of the support company: the ones in the stores of my town seemed horrible; this one that seemed interesting, but I don't find the way to buy it from Spain:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Medically-approved-Supplied-inguinal-containment/dp/B00R3GB378. The fact is the firsts weeks the hernia came out from time to time despite the support.
The other thought is if I'm being to apprehensive, and maybe if I keep going the hernia won't portrude anyway, but I want to keep the hernia reduced to facilitate healing of the "rupture" (whatever that means) and I don't know how much of a regression would mean if the hernia portrudes again: would I lose weeks or months of care and exercise? :-/ In fact there was a week before I noticed the bulge and I went to a doctor for diagnosis (I belive I had some liquid trapped down there at first) and I went to run a couple of times, only reducing my pace attending more to caution than to disconfort, but since more than two months I'm trying to take the best care of this so despite doing pilates and other abb workout and walking I do not go out to run.
I wonder: anyone has experienced problmes whit running?
Maybe I'm being too aprehensive and I should try anyway some running. Maybe even if the hernia bulges out a short while will not be so bad or hinder so much my progress. My only ideas know are try (maybe from week to week) to make some gentle strides and attend my feelings; maybe try to tune my support and see if it feels different... I can just add extra thickness to the pad, and wouldn't be irreversible: anyone tried?
Well, my doubts are probable not easy to answer but I just feel better writing about them hehe...
