Wilson here. It is my opinion colon irrigation is not a good thing as it removes the beneficial flora necessary for good digestion which must be replaced after irrigation.
A type of irrigation is necessary for colonoscopy which is not recommended more than every two years for that exact reason; by my former gastroenterologist.
Rather than irrigation I would sooner load up on fiber as a cleansing agent.
I had to irrigate with salt water three times in two years directly after my colon cancer surgery in 2006 but haven't had a colonoscopy in three years as my PSA last checked in December of last year is 0.786; an excellent reading; therefore I see no good reason for a colonoscopy especially since the three colonoscopies I had showed no new polyps.
I recommend blueberries for breakfast or better yet before bedtime to bombard the colon with cancer-killing nutrients,

day of the fast, I did a "yogic enema," which is called jal basti or
jala basti and involves using the "stomach vacuum" to suck water into
the bowels through the anus, churn it around and then expel it. It is
not a very easy technique to master, but luckily I knew it already.
You can find some descriptions of this technique on the Internet or
from yoga books or a yoga teacher - but probably not all yoga teachers
can do it.

the web pages on his web site, but evidently it is a machine

water here in Taipei used to be so highly chlorinated that it would
give you a sore throat if you drank it. It is much better now. I can
see where you are going with this - that it would be better to use non-
chlorinated or de-chlorinated water so as not to disturb the
beneficial bacteria in the intestines. I think you are right about
that.

the French characters appear correctly in the new Google Groups interface. Trick is if you try to change to the new interface by clicking on the button "try the new interface" it may not work (gets lost and hangs with some Java bug). The way it worked for me (using Firefox 8.01) was to go to the Google Groups main page (just google "google groups" and from that main page, opt for the new interface, THEN look for the " herniasupport " group.
Then all French characters read well, and I'm sure other bugs are better resolved there too. Not sure what you might lose by going to the new group interface, but may be worth posting as new sticky topic.

I am taking this opportunity to update my incisional hernia experience. The
message below I am replying to does not include this type of hernia.
I am not currently involved of any physical type of process in attempt to
remove my hernia. I am involved in somewhat latent spiritual process and
metaphysical concern as a subconscious ongoing therapy. I am allowing my
soul and spirit to fight this war on herniation while I consciously go about
my daily chores through non-acceptance of the condition.
Also; I am now wearing Peridot gems; on my right hand and around my neck.
Also known as Chrysolite or Olivine; these gems possess healing quality
according to ancient belief and may have been the upper central gem on
Aaron's biblical breastplate .
My wife and I are currently on the Outer Banks of North Carolina enjoying a
relaxing week in a rental cottage right on the beach; which I find
invigorating to the soul and conducive to overall healing.
I should not be surprised then to find upon awakening this morning the
hernia was completely gone!
I am not, however; claiming full healing; since after eating breakfast the
bulge once again appeared; but now again as I sit here typing this it is not
evident alongside the belly button where it usually eminates.
My assumption here is that the natural mesh of retaining flesh which holds
back the colon is slowly regenerating over time even though the surgeon
claims this to be an impossibility.
The human brain is capable of much more than anyone realizes. I believe the
key is to understand how positive thinking benefits subconscious process.
So much for now. I sense progress is being made. Wilson

Xavier, what led you to believe there is any deception on his part? there are the usual disclaimers, if your hernia is too developed you have to consider surgery etc. - and any progress using his method would be dependent on strict discipline etc.

Well I do not remember in details the words and did not keep the web
references of the sites I visited but basically what I read on the web
is that the method, once bought, was very deceptive in terms of
content. And my search did not lead me to anyone exterior to Dr
Francoeur himself that would testimony of beeing cured.
Well I am happy to read that you bought the document and found it
interesting. Could you provide a couple of details to show how
innovative or professionnal il could be ? and tell me when you resell
it ;-)
