COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATES:

If you are interested in taking an active role in the Community Garden project, or want to learn more about HEN and find out how you can become active in our group, join us at our next planning meeting. We are happy to announce that the Memorandum of Agreement between the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Town of Herndon, and HEN has been signed! We recently hit a (temporary, for sure) roadblock when the HOA adjacent to Bruin Park has decided to not grant us an easement for water, but we hope to convince them of the value a community garden will add to the community!

Community Garden Planning Meeting

When: Thursday, October 12; 7 PM to 8 PM

Where: Herndon Fortnightly Library, 768 Center St, Herndon 20170

RSVP at in...@herndonenvironment.org
