Presentation on veggie gardening pest challenges - Saturday, October 8, at the Herndon Library

Please join us this Saturday for a Public Meeting of the Herndon Environmental Network. 

Saturday, October 8, 1:30-2:30 pm, Herndon Fortnightly Library, 768 Center St., Herndon, VA. 

The meeting will start with a presentation on veggie gardening pest challenges in the Northern Virginia area. Our speaker, Adria Bordas, has been the Fairfax County Extension Agent since 2001. She has a Master’s degree in Plant Pathology. Adria focuses on several program areas which include pest detection and diagnosis of plant and insect problems, water quality and pesticide safety.

The meeting will continue with HEN board business items.
