Hi All,
So new I haven’t rec’d my HL2 yet…
A couple questions.
If I have this right, I ordered the main board, N2ADR and the enclosure. My FOMO might be kicking in. I think there’s an input board and a plus board. What might I hope to gain from either? Both?
I’d like to lean into pure signal going forward. I’m presuming there’s an amp on my horizon. Suggestion there are welcome. I understand that Thetis may not be the best option for pure signal. Is that true? What would be a better option?
Many thanks in advance!
Chuck

Have you read the Wiki? Or do you need someone to copy-paste it here?

Clifford neglected one piece of information you'll require to follow his advice:

Hi Chuck,

You can find most links on the main page:

You can start with the wiki linked on that page. Also, this group is searchable via the web:

Many newbies like the Facebook hermes-lite page.

You don't need the ak4951 companion board. I operate QRP, as the HL2 was designed to do, and only use the HL2, N2ADR filterboard and enclosure, all from Makerfabs.

The best implementation of pure signal will be in the DL1YCF fork version of PiHPSDR also DL1BZ offshoot deskHPSDR since it started from the PiHPSDR code base.
