Hi Gil,

All the bitfiles are on github:

The 20180106 has been moved to stable:

For the beta5:

You may need to click on the link and then "view raw" to complete the download.

Are you seeing these problems on a HL2b5? Is it one you built or did you purchase from me?

Hi, Steve. Was running 20180106 in my hl2b5 on 75 mtrs. ssb, using powersdr 3.4.9 and decided I should update to 20180708. Then discovered that my power output had been lowered by more than half and the adc1 warning was coming on along with a strong noise from speakers. Tried 20180603, no better.

Want to get back to 20180106 but found that the link below for 20180106 no longer works and any reference to it on github produces no results. Have been trying for several days now and would like to get things back to working. Github does not get it for me, sorry.

Hi Gill,

The MAC address may have changed with that firmware. PowerSDR may index settings based on the MAC address. Typically reasons for low power are:

*TxDAC gain is not set to maximum
*Filter selection has the output capped per band

PowerSDR may not be associating your previous settings with the HL2b5 with newer firmware, so you will have to go through complete reconfiguration of these settings.

Do you see full power with Quisk or SparkSDR? I use these two pieces of software and can better help you if you can replicate the problem with these.

Which hl2b5up.jic are you using? 20180603 or 20180708? Both have been stable and deliver full power on my HL2b5.

Hi, Steve. Installed 20180106/hl2beta5.jic in my hl2b5. Could not get hpsdr to see the hl even after many, many tries. So loaded hl2b5up.jic and hpsdr connected to my hl first try. However my output power level has been reduced by more than 50% as before. Either my computer hates me or I don't know what the hell I am doing. I did change R55 when I had the first 0106.jic installed and brought the output power up to 4.8 watts max.

Now hoping that hl2b5up.jic will stay friendly for me but would like full output power back. Can drive my EB104 amp to 200 watts now but could use 400 watts at times.
