I need help with setting up Hermes/Hardrock 50 equipment

I have the Hermes Lite 2 + which includes basic board, filter board, I/O board and AK4951

companion board.  My system works as far  as transmit and receive using space bar and up/down arrow key for activation.  I am using the latest Thetis software.  The issue I have now is audio to transmit.  At one time I actually communicated QSP on 80 meters.  Only thing I was waiting for was the Hardrock 50.  I sent this unit to a friend for evaluation and the unit I have now is new.   I have full power output on the HR50 but no automatic band switching from Hermes.  My contact info on QRZ is correct.  If you can help via phone, I can forward contact information.  On the companion AK4951, none of the functions work as far as PTT and Audio.  I am retired and available at any time during the day.
