Hermes Lite 2 no PEP output

I was trying to set the bias on the transmitter using Quisk. The transmitter is Enabled, antenna or dummy load always connected and I am seeing 166 ma on the PA power and zero on the PEP and the SWR shows nothing when keying up with the antenna connected. At first I saw PEP go up to .7 but then it stopped showing any output. I tried to follow a youtube video describing the procedure but things didn't work the same way he was showing. I have an ominous feeling about the health of my radio. Looking for ideas about getting this working/repaired.

The radio was ordered 8/1/23 even though the invoice shows 01/08/2023.

Hi Albionbrew,

Was there a reason you attempted to set the bias? The bias is preset at the factory. Now that you have adjusted the bias, is 166mA the maximum you can get, not the recommended ~205mA?

To eliminate the PA, can you disable the PA then measure and report output from the low power RF1 output?

Quisk will sometimes not transmit if the audio card settings are missing are incorrect. Can you please post a screenshot of your Quisk audio setup? Also, please try with sparkSDR to help eliminate software configuration.

I went back and rechecked the settings and found the power settings on the Bands settings page where all set at 70. I set them for 240. Since I already messed with the bias settings went back in and adjusted them again so they are at ~205ma. The radio now puts out 5.0 watts. 

I tried SparkSDR per your suggestion and it confirmed all seems to be well now. Have run a WSPR site for two nights with many contacts both transmitting and receiving, appears the radio is working good.
