Thanks all that responded to my previous questions, great support group and so far really impressed with that and the HL2 also.

Question....I found the cuSDR64 software interesting but so far I guess another audio issue with this program using HL2...software and HL2 seems to be working visually but no audio out on cuSDR64 and I don't see any audio setting on the cuSDR64 software, anyone with suggestions or advice on this issue?

Hi Don
This is absolutely normal. CuSDR do not natively supports the audio decoding, and uses the on board DAC located on Hermes/angelia/Orion board (and definitely not the HL2). DL3HVH decided to stop any dev many years ago, and the original project passed away.

A linux based version of CuSDR as been developped including the audio extension, named CuSDR64. The last time I heard about a Hermeslite compatible version of this code was 3 years ago.

Have a look at the N1GP github repository named CudaSDR

https://github.com/n1gp/cudaSDR

But one more time, it’s a Linux based code

Marc,

I do like the interface.

I am a novice and not very knowledgeable but would like to try compiling this to run.
Against the odds is the fact that I have only have a Apple OSX Catalina machine to try that on.

If you have any advice to get started with compiling this on OSX.

Hi

I’m affraid I’m absolutely unable to help you. The first time I compiled CuSDR (not the « 64 » version) was 8 o 9 years ago, and I had to put a DAC on the main board (it was a Red Pitaya platform). The code was perfectly running on a Hermelite V1 (without sound), but I never had the energy and time to compile the Cuda version. The fact that all these CuSDR flavors were « RX only » was probably the main reason of my lazzyness

And I should add that I never compiled anything on a macintosh platform.
