Hey all,

Newbie here, just received my HL2 last week and setting up for use.  Steve,  what a great design.  Wow!  Thank you and all those working on the software, like Reid. I've been able to run WSJT-X successfully and the HL2  is working well on receive.

Couple of questions for someone that doesn't mind bringing me up to speed on a couple of things that are probably very simple. I'm using the latest PowerSDR 3.5.0 beta from Reid and have a couple of issues:

- The Master AF slider does not work.  I can change volume on RX1 and RX2 using the vertical sliders at the bottom of the PowerSDR window, but not using the master AF horizontal slider on the left side of the PSDR window.

- The microphone gain slider in PSDR has no effect.  I can change the gain/level of the mic within Windows 10, but the mic slider within PowerSDR has no effect. Mic is plugged a front jack on the Win10 computer. Win10 sees it just fine.

- Sometimes I have to turn VAC (I'm using VAC1 mostly) off and then back on for PowerSDR to "see" my microphone. Once it sees the mic, it works and transmit audio sounds OK via "Monitor".

I'm using the Windows DirectSound driver as selected within PowerSDR and using Primary Sound Capture as input and either Primary Sound Driver as output or my speakers as output.

Regards,

Doesn't work even on the original non-Reid PowerSDR.

Same as above.

Additional Mic Gain can be set via the VAC1 tab - Gain TX.

Never seen that.

Thank you Duncan.  I was really baffled when I couldn't get it to work.  Now I know - it doesn't work.
