Hi,

I am using the N2ADR IO Board with the HL2 and I have a question about REG_RF_INPUTS mode 2.

In my firmware (based on the N2ADR IO Board firmware), when mode 2 is selected, INTTR is set permanently HIGH. According to the IO Board schematic, INTTR HIGH means RX position — so the HL2 internal T/R relay K2 stays in RX position permanently, even during TX.

I can confirm that:
- RX works correctly on the ALT RX input (J9)
- Pure Signal feedback works on J10 during TX
- TX power output on the ANT connector seems normal

However I am concerned: since K2 stays in RX position during TX in mode 2, is the HL2 RX chain exposed to the 5W TX signal through the ANT connector? Could this cause any damage to the RX chain over time?

Thank you!

There should not be a problem. The 5 watt power will not be passed to the HL2 input. There can be incidental pickup but not enough to cause damage.
