Used Hermes Lite 2 Plus

I have a spare Hermes Lite 2 Plus available for sale. It is installed in a 55mm enclosure with an end plate I modified for the AK4951 V3.3 companion board that is included.  I will also include the 2 Plus 40mm end plates in case you decide to order a 40mm enclosure in the future.  US $350.00 plus shipping.  Contact me directly if interested.

Darrell, I see you have a piHPSDR board built without a case.  

 

Attached are pics of my case and the Front Panel Express files I used for my Hammond 1455 series aluminum case.   I slid in a large PCB as a shield and mounted a speaker amp, Teensy CWKeyer (Teensy4.0+SGTL5000), USB hub, and a USB3 SSD drive.

 

These were derived from DL2RMM files but small adjustments made and then the patter placed onto the Hammond case.  The sliding back plate I put vent holes and cutouts for a fan and 2 speakers.  The end plates I figured out later and cut by hand.

 

I recently built a much smaller cousin based on the Teensy 4.1 SDR have been working on.   It has a RS-HFIQ board embedded within it, same series Hammond case.  I like the Hammond cases 😊.

Which Hammond case - dimensions as I can't find anything online larger
than this.

The cases i used is the Hammond 144-16 aluminium chassis (254 x 152 x51).

PiHPSDR v2, Pi4B, 7" touch LCD, 10 Class D stereo amp and 2 4" speakers.

Yes, I built up one piHPSDR board built without a case. I have a second controller in a case based on files from DL2MM, ordered from Front Panel Express.  

My approach was to have separate enclosures to avoid potential issues with heat, RF, EMI.
