Thetis always reports 0W Forward Power (instead of 100W as an example)
for any band on any mode.
Hardware Setup:
100W Dummy Load
Thetis v2.10.3.13 (MI0BOT).. this is the latest released stable version
Radio is HL2 and external amplifier is Hardrock 50+ w/ATU (100W)
Test Example: Band: 40m, Mode: CW-L, MOX: On, Using Iambic Key
I have tried such tests on FM or SSB etc. using microphone/headset
Also tried all other bands and applicable modes.
Software Setup:
Thetis PA settings
PA Gain for 40m I have set to 43
I started with 100 and ended up at 43, for a Drive value at 0dB, I get 100W as seen on an external Power Meter
I have tried to change Offset in the PA Gain tab and FwdPwr is still 0
I have tried changing 10W meter trim under Watt Meter tab and FwdPwr is still 0
Is there any way to play with these settings so that FwdPwr will show a realistic number (even if not accurate) ? For example i have detailed calibration of Output Power from HL2 vs Output Power from the amplifier, for each band. It would be great to share this into Thetis.
I have searched about this topic a lot and see Thetis reports the FwdPwr properly for Anan radios. But i am using HL2.
Please share your ideas.
thank you
