Hello all,

HW/Software:
Thetis version: 2.10.3.6 x64
Window 10 Enterprise
Lenovo P50 laptop

I just got my HL2 today and have assembled and connected it. It works, except I have no sound.
I have tried all the drivers from Setup>Audio>VAC 1 and even installed the ASIO driver (ASIO4ALL), but none of them gives me any sound. VAC1 is enabled. I have testet sound on the computer and it works.

I didn't find a solution from the manual and I have viewed a couple of HL2 setup videos on Youtube.

Sound settings on my computer has Speaker/HP (RealTek High Definition Audio) as output device

I installed Thetis on another laptop I have, a Lenovo T15, and sound worked on it. That is my work computer however, so I will have to uninstall Thetis from it again.

Any suggestions to what I can try?

Thanks
Osman

I would recheck your audio speaker output to ensure it is as per your computer however would also suggest you use Thetis provided by MI0BOT which was version 2.10 3.6 Beta 3 which is designed with settings for Hermesite 2

Look under released to find

Thanks Greg,

It works now. I don't know what was wrong. I changed some settings in Windows, uninstalled the ASIO driver and fiddled around with settings in Thetis and unconnected and reconnected my speaker system and at some point it worked.

Well done...from my experience HL2 and Thetis are extremely reliable...it's Windows changing drivers inputs etc that can cause issues especially after updates. Make sure you back up data by Export Database and any changes you make in Thetis settings to do with audio save in Transmit  profile it will be highlighted yellow if requiring saving.
