Just got my Hermes Lite 2 with N2ADR and I/O
  • Used a basic setup on parameter / settings.
  • On any HF band I could not get more than 1-2w output on SSB using the 1k Tune button.
  • Checked my settings 100 times. Lol
  • Stumbled upon the OC control tab and disabled the N2ADR filter button. After that, pushing the Tune button showed 5-6w on all bands into a 100w dummy load.
  • With the button enabled I watched the Hardware Pin state change (that's good).
I understand there may be a minimal impact on Output power, but i think what I'm seeing is pretty significant. Trying to figure out what might cut the power so drastically on all bands, when the N2ADR button is enabled? Any thoughts?

There is often software settings which limit the maximum power per band to protect any external amp. You may need to adjust this to the maximum for all bands. What software are you using?

Thetis V2.10.3.12 x64 (02/06/2026) HL2 (MI0BOT

There are good YouTube videos which cover this software. Since you are able to see 5-6W in some situations, this must be a configuration issue.
