HL2 - No DHCP accepted

HL2 Issue 5 board with hl2b5up_main gateware is not receiving a DHCP
address from the Router and is falling back to APIPA address. SparkSDR
is seeing the HL2 and connecting to it but there is no receive activity.

I have booted to the Backup image with the 3,5mm plug and silver foil.
The HL2 then takes a DHCP address from the router and the receiver is
functional. Having accessed the HL2 and setting 'favor  DHCP'  and
'Fixed IP' to 0.0.0.0 and rebooting the HL2 it reverts to APIPA again. I
can set a fixed IP and that works ok.

 I have tried uploading a new copy the gateware but that did'nt cure
it. I have also rebooted the router with no cure.

I think I have tried everything in the Network troubleshooting Github pages.

Ok, I have reset, back to factory, the router. and rebooted all devices

still strange happenings.

 I can see the failed HL2 in the devices list of the router at 192.168.1.77 and my other HL2 on 192.168.1.78

I can ping the HL2 on 1.78 but not the HL2 on 1.77

I can see HL2 - 78 but not HL2 - 77 with SparkSDR

HL2 - 77 has D2,3,4 flashing and d5 on

HL2 - 78 has d2 flashing and d3,4,5 on

Both HL2 are firmware version 73, firmware patch 2 and board id 5

Hi,

have you changed the mac address of one of the HL2s? Having two with the same mac address causes all sort of odd things to happen.  If this is the issue, unplug the other one before changing the address.
