No microphone with front panel PTT

I just got a Hermes Lite II on the air with Thetis software and a Micro PA50+ amp. Everything works ok except there is no microphone when I transmit with the front panel PTT switch. Carrier is ok, but no audio. I confirmed the cable is connected to the ring and ground. The mic works when I use the MOX key on the screen, so I suspect it is something in the software preventing it when I use the external PTT. I have searched endlelssly through the menus but so far haven't found where the disconnect is. Anyone else have this issue?

I have seen the same problem too.

The solution is a check-box in the HL2 settings, I cannot remember what the setting was called. Will try to find it again when I am next at my HL2.

" Allow PTT to override/bypass VAC for Phone" This check-box should be UNTICKED.

Sorry about the delay.

Go into settings, Audio, VAC1 and make sure that "Allow PTT to override/bypass VAC for Phone" is NOT selected.
