Hi all,

I've been having a small problem with HL2 and Thetis for a few versions. When transmitting SSB, I have to change the Audio - VAC 0 - TX Gain parameter to get the microphone's audio output.

Simply changing the TX Gain setting fixes the problem, for example:

TX Gain = +1 or -1 (even if it immediately returns to TX Gain = 0)

The TX Gain change is saved, but the next time I launch Thetis, I still have to change the TX Gain to get the microphone's audio output.

I created a new Database, without success.

I don't have this problem with an ANAN 100D with the same version of Thetis,

If I use the ANAN version, and selecting Radio Model Hermes Lite, there is no problem.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks. 73

Hello everyone,
I'm having the same problem, but in RX.
Every time I launch Thétis, I have to go to the audio setup to activate the VAC. This quickly becomes annoying.
Does anyone have a solution?
I'm using an RPI4 with a Radioberry.

I imported a database (v2.10.3.7) from another PC that doesn't have this problem, and the error is still present.
I conclude that the database is not affected.
I wish Reid could give us his opinion.
Thanks. 73

Hi all,

I deleted everything and reinstalled, it's still the same.

As the HL2 uses the VAC channels for audio, I have made the Mic control slider control the VAC Tx Gain, so the Mic setting will take preference. Could please try adjusting the Mic gain with the Mic gain slider and see if that resolves the problem.

Cheers

Hi Reid,

That's right!

Thank you so much! I've been looking for months!

Thank you for your work on Thetis.
