Hello, greetings. I'm new here.

My little Hermes was working correctly until last night.

I'll tell you a little about what happened.

With Thetis, it had been working for over a year without any problems.

But this past Friday, I was at the radio club. When I arrived, some colleagues were configuring the Hermes with a software that was new to me, SPARKSDR. I took note of the name and decided to install it on my PC. It worked for a few hours, and I even configured it for FT8.

And I made a couple of contacts. I noticed that every time I had to restart the PC, I lost the bias settings. I made the adjustments using SPRKSDR. After several tests, I shut down and went to dinner with the family. When I turned it on after a few hours, I realized that when I ran SPARKSDR, the power button symbol didn't appear. At first, I thought everything was misconfigured and I couldn't run it. I closed it and ran THETIS. To my surprise, I get a network connection error. I check that it's on and see that it can't connect to the home network.
I'll describe what I see:
Network cable connected and Hermes on
LNK LED on steady
ACT LED flashes occasionally
RUN/CLK LED flashes
TX/IP LED flashes
ADC 75/SPD LED on
100/HW LED on.
I'm shocked because I don't understand what could have happened.
If anyone knows or has any idea what could have happened, I would be very grateful. If not, my little giant would remain as decoration.
Thank you.

Hi Pablo,

I suspect a fixed IP or dhcp was disable when your friends were experimenting with SparkSDR. Please review and disable the fixed IP setting in SparkSDR. This setting is stored in the HL2 and will affect other software. Also, try booting in factory recovery mode. See the network wiki page.
