HL2 PA R92 and FETs

Ok, R92 has burnt but the FET appears to be ok. What could be the cause ?
I'm probably going to replace the AFT05MS003's with AFT05MS004's.
Is there any change for the Bias settings or the component values needed
for this?

Hi,

I would check for something shorting the PA around where the PCB touches the rail or the screw puts down pressure on the PCB. This problem can occur if some components are scraped off during the assembly.

The AFT05MS004 does work in HF ranges and has been thoroughly tested. More HL2s have AFT05MS004s now then the original AFT05MS003s. For details, search this list for AFT05MS004 via the web gui.
