VAC for audio on Thetis latest release

Hi all,
I’ve been a long time watcher of all the great info from the group and have endeavored to figure out what I needed to on my own but I’ve run into a bit of a challenge on the virtual audio cable setup for Thetis. I’ve installed the latest release and it’s working great so far on receive. However, I have no sound configured so obvious hear nothing and cannot TX. I’ve looked at the very long 112 pages from the manual but I do not have a lot of experience with VAC.

Any suggestions on a setup video or other on a process to facilitate this portion of the software world be a great help.

I run Voicemeeter mixer software with my HL2, it includes VAC options and is quite easy to set up.  The advantage of using Voicemeeter is that you can see VU meter indications of your audio and route the audio to any device for listening.  An added bonus is that you can also have other sets, sdr etc connected, I have my TS-590, IC-9700 and SDRplay RSPDX also connected.  Voicemeeter also has EQ, volume limiter and compression capabilities. Voicemeeter is free to trial and suggested donationware for purchase, the donation amount is very small.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your information and experience with voicemeeter.  Sounds very interesting with lots of features. I’m not familiar with it, but I’ll definitely check it out.
