Ordering more HL2B5 bare PCB

Hi group,

I sent out my last B5 board yesterday.  I have another interested buyer and may order another round of boards if there's more interest.

International buyers are welcome.  PCB will fit in a letter and ship for around $2.50(overseas) $1 (USA).  The price will be couple of bucks higher due to the complete shipping costs charged to this order, previous orders were in conjunction with other orders so fees were split.  I expect cost to be in the $7-8 range per PCB.

Folks,

I populated a bare Beta 5 board from Stew.  It is up and running and I am exploring the operation.  I set up the RPi test bed and at first got the following:

ERROR: RX smeter is -93.69
etc.  I had mounted T2 backwards, I reran and got the following:

ERROR: TX smeter is -78.55
etc.  I had install the old 75 ohm value instead or the 120 ohm value for R55 (I must have looked at an old BOM?). It now passes the RPi test.

My last glitch was installing B104 and B107 by mistake.  Bias shot up to 400 mA even at zero on the sliders.  I don't quite know why this happened, but removing them allowed the bias to work normally.  I now see a very clean 5 watt output.  The waveform looks as clean as my original Beta 2 before my lightning strike. 

I have another case ordered and look forward to trying Jim's filter board when its available.  Thanks again to Steve and everyone else involved for a great project.

Maybe a 50% split? You pay 50% of the price for 5 PCBs?

Hi Franz,

I do not have any blank PCBs for sale. You can check with Stew. Placing a order for 5 or 10 units from China with Franz is  a good idea and will probably cost you less even if you end up with 5 boards.
